SIZE GUIDE AND LEAD TIMES

All our designs are available in any size, we have two options

STANDARD SIZE

or CUSTOM SIZE

STANDARD SIZES

All styles are available in standard sizes UK 6-20 and length 44’’ waist to floor, train lengths vary 13” to 17” Please see the size chart below, to determine your size, if your measurements are between 2 or 3 sizes, we recommend purchasing the largest size. The size chart is a general guide for the overall fit, alterations are to be expected to achieve the ideal fit.

Please do not choose a Standard size if you would like to make any custom style changes, standard sizes are cut exactly from our pattern block with no alterations to size or style.

Once you have submitted your order, I will need to to confirm the size you have requested is correct, please send your measurements via our portal here Please note no work will start until I have received your basic measurements.

Lead times for Standard Sizes are usually 8-12 weeks.

Please allow at least 6 weeks before your wedding for any alterations.

CUSTOM SIZES and STYLE CHANGES

We also offer custom sizes and style changes, any of our styles can be made to your exact measurements.

Lead times vary, usually 12-16 weeks in peak season, and I suggest allowing 6 weeks before your wedding for any additional alterations.

If your size or length falls outside of our standard size range I suggest to choose “custom” on the drop down menu, and submit your measurements via our online measurement portal here.

Your order will then be made to the measurements you provide. Please note this does not, in any way mean the garment will be a perfect fit based on your measurements alone ( Although I will try my very best!)

Only fittings in person can achieve this. You will need to budget and allow time for fittings by a local seamstress, or you can opt for my bespoke fittings service.

I can also make any small design changes, eg raised back, lower neckline, this will also be “custom” on the drop down menu. Please message me if you require more in depth style alterations, or a bespoke style.

Your order confirmation email will contain a link to my online measurement portal, where you will find all the measurements I will need, and instructions on how to take them. There is also a section on the form to add any additional style changes.

If you wish to book in for my bespoke fitting and design service, this varies in price depending on the complexity involved, this process can take an additional 4-8 weeks

A basic cost guide to the fitting process as follows,

1. First fit, full length calico fit toile £150, Half length £75.

The calico toile is made to your measurements, and is fitted in person by myself at my studio, or it can be sent via mail to you and you can arrange to have it fitted by your local seamstress. (shipping costs will apply ) this is a good option if in person fittings at my studio isn't logistically possible,

If a subsequent fit toile is required this will be £45

2. Fitting for the calico toile in person £65 (45-60 minute fitting)

3. Your garment is then cut and sent to my seamstress, at this point I would suggest 1-3 fittings with my seamstress whilst your garment is in progress, initial fitting £65 and paid directly to my seamstress, it is a 45-60 minute fitting, if any additional fittings are required, the price will quoted by my seamstress.

After the fitting, My seamstress will carry out the alterations which are free for the first hour of work, after this they are charged at £30

The calico toile and 2nd fit with my seamstress is the minimum amount of fittings I recommend, and we do our best to get a really good fit within the 2 fittings.

Occasionally additional fittings will be required after your dress has been delivered. You can either find a local seamstress who can help with these or you can enquire if we have any availability.

Additional alterations fee after your dress is complete, £65 consultation and alterations charged at £35ph

Please allow time for these alterations in your wedding planning timeframe.

4. Any design changes during the fit process with my seamstress will be an additional cost, charged at £30 per hour

Prices exclude VAT , (VAT charged at 20%)

If you opt for 3 plus fittings this process would eliminate the need for any local seamstress costs.
