HELLO

We are Bibiluxe Studio. A small independent British studio, we are all about slow fashion and manufacturing.

Each and everyone of our garments are cut individually by hand, in our studio. We do not hold stock garments, which can cause unnecessary over production.

We have chosen to only sell our collection here at Bibiluxestudio.com, rather than bricks and mortar boutique shops, whom have high retail mark up costs, to cover their wages and overheads. By buying direct from the us the designer, we can offer a lower price point, but with the same quality and workmanship.

Here at Bibiluxe studio, we want to give you a new way to look at bridal wear. Our designs are a combination of fashion and bridal, designed for your event and forever.

So at Bibiluxe Studio we’ve designed our collection, to be multi functional and intermixable, designed to be worn for multiple events, from your big day and beyond.

We would love you to follow us on Instagram @bibiluxestudio, where you will see more of our outfit combinations.

MEET THE DESIGNER

Hello, I am Barbara,

Designer, pattern cutter, seamstress and pretty much everything else in between!

I also work with a small team of highly skilled home working U.K seamstresses, who make our orders. Their talent and craftsmanship we value highly, we count ourselves lucky to have them on our team. Between us we have experience spanning over a century. We are also minimising our carbon footprint, by using local talent, alongside using sustainable natural fabrics.

I have worked in the fashion industry, since graduating with a BA in fashion design, nearly 30 years ago. My experience is varied, and I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge having worked with high end designers, and running a fast paced busy London fashion studio, supplying high street brands.

My dream has always been to sell my own designs, so I started Bibiluxe on Etsy in 2013, selling kimonos made from up-cycled silk, during this time, I took on bridal fitting work until Bibiluxe grew to a full time business, this gave me a good understanding and insight into the world of bridal. I then went onto making and designing boho wedding dresses for my Etsy shop which were designed, with my love of kimonos in mind.

A year ago, I decided to take my business in a more sustainable direction, by choosing only to use sustainable fabric, this actually gave me more creativity, and I found myself going back to my fashion roots, to create my Bibiluxe Studio collection.

I hope you love it as much as I have enjoyed creating it, it’s a tick off the bucket list for me!

We would love to hear your thoughts, we are available to chat on Instagram @bibiluxestudio or drop us a line via our contact page.
