Typically, we ask for 4-10 weeks to make your dress, depending on how busy we are. We suggest taking delivery of your order at least 4-6 weeks before your event. This allows you time to organise any fitting that may be required, by a local seamstress. Please enquire about our current lead times. description,

We realise, that buying online is not the easiest. We have an incredible team of talented and skilled seamstresses, who have been chosen for their experience and wealth of knowledge, they like Barbara have had many years experience in the fashion business, and have worked with Khya bridal, Cefinn, Ralph and Russo, to name but a few. Their level of craftsmanship and expertise, is impeccable, and we are proud to be able to support our British artisans.
We pride ourselves on our attention to detail.

We hear this a lot! so we understand your fear, likewise if we were in your shoes we would feel anxious.
Let’s bust some myths here, if you make an appointment to try on wedding dresses in your local boutique, there is a very high chance they won’t have the dress you want to try in your size. Boutiques tend to stock one or two sizes per style, and the likelihood it will either too big and it will be clamped in on you, or the size will be too small to be able to try on at all.
We offer try at home samples ( at the moment we only have a UK size 8 but we will be expanding this soon) We offer refunds on all standard sizes, which is unheard of in Bridal boutiques, once your deposit is paid the sale is final.
As regards to sizing, boutiques work the same way as us, your measurements will be taken and then the boutique will place an order with the designer in the nearest size to your measurements, if your measurements fall between 2 or 3 sizes then the largest size will be ordered, thus meaning you will almost definitely need to budget and allow time for alterations.
Here at Bibiluxe Studio we go one step further by offering custom sizes as well, Your garment is then made to your individual measurements, and small changes to the design can be made as well.
We positively advise you to go to a boutique and try on wedding dresses to find out what suits you first, but try not to make rush decisions immediately, especially if you have friends and family steering you one way and your heart is set on another. Having worked as a bridal fitter in the past, I’ve had many brides standing in their dress, unhappy with their final choice.
So in our eyes, we see no difference with buying a wedding dress online vs a bricks and mortar boutique, just because it’s “traditional” to purchase from a boutique and it feels like the right thing to do.
If you’re here reading this , hopefully you now know you’re in safe hands with us, we want all our brides to be 100% happy, your dress is as important to us, as it is to you.
We’re here to be “non traditional” in our designs and the way we all think about buying bridal online.
-
Yes, absolutely, we encourage our brides to place their order in advance, this secures your dress into our production schedule. We are a small business so have a limit to the amount of orders we can make a month. You can then submit measurements at a later date, we just ask that they are sent 6-12 weeks before the “ship by date”.
The “ship by date”, is the date you need us to ship, please allow 1-2 days shipping if you’re in the U.K, 2-4 days Europe, 4-8 days rest of world. We do suggest if possible you allow 4-6 weeks before your wedding upon receipt of your order.

We make to order, and do not have garments in stock, so we have no need to hold sales.
We offer prices that are “direct from designer”, without the added retail mark up, so we offer great prices all of the time.
